Understand the prevention, detection and investigation of fraud within the NHS (National Health Service) and how it should be reported.
This training resource discusses the prevention of fraud against the NHS. As such fraud causes the tax-payer funding (money) originally intended for benefit of patient care, is manipulated into the pockets of those who it was not intended and did not legitimately earn it.
Provided by Cambridgeshire Chamber Training. Such fraud results in fewer resources available to be allocated (spent) on front-line health services such as patient care, health care facilities, doctors, nurses, other staff and supplies.
